Genesis 6-7: Flood - Noah’s Family

As Genesis moves into a new generation of stories, we look at the story of Noah. From this very familiar story (one that even kids know!), we see some very hard realities that are often ignored. In this story, God destroys much of his creation in order to purify his creation. And we also see both God’s grief and God’s heart, considering the equally hard but equally true realities that God is both patient and just. Both “sides of that coin” are good news in Genesis 6-7, and both are still god news today.
